~ Ani Phyo's Sunflower Bread ~

Ani Phyo is famous for her sunflower bread. She has many excellent recipe's we just love her books. Ken, my husband, loves her bread recipe because it is not too dry. He is used to eating a multigrain grain bread and he says if it is not moist it is not bread. Taste and texture is very important to most people, but for myself I just love anything that is raw. I love my bread too, even though has more of a cracker consistency.

I put all the ingredients in a bowl last night to have it ready to put together quickly this morning. All I had to add was the minced white onion, garlic clove and filtered water.

This is what the bread looked like after five hours of dehydrating at 104 degrees. It's just about done another hour to go... .

It has a perfect texture dry on the outside and a bit moist or chewy. After the bread was done I don't think even ten minutes went by before we had put a sandwhich together.

Sunflower Bread Recipe :
1 and1/3 cup ground flax
2/3 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup black seseme seeds
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 garlic clove
2 tbs white onion
1 and 1/3 cup of filtered water
This recipe does not require anything but a blow to mix all the ingredients in.

This sandwhich had tomato, sea salt, black pepper, cilantro, radish sprouts and a little nut cheese.
