~ Raw Cheezy Nacho Chips ~

I decided to try making raw cheezy nacho chips using Marion's recipe for the cheese on the kale chips. I added some ground flax with the recipe...
I spread the dough on two dehydrating trays....

Recipe

2 cups of cashews

1 bunch of cilantro

1 lemon

1 tsp salt

3 tbs nutritional yeast

1 yellow pepper

1 jalapeno

1/2 cup ground flax

After about seven hours I flipped them and continued to dehydrate another five hours.

I took them after about 10 -12 hours and put them in the fridge overnight. I placed them back on the dehydrator this moprning for another four hours and they were finally done and crunchy.

They have a very strong cheezy flavour. They are good for snacking on, but next time I think I will add less nutritional yeast so they are milder in flavour....

I love serving anything raw especially raw breads with a lot of fresh sprouts......

  4. Glad you like these they are delicious, but a little on the strong side. Try using a little less nutritional yeast than the recipe calls for...(: ~ XO
