Wheat Grass, Sunflower and Buckwheat Sprouts

I had my teacher come over to my place to give me some instruction on how to grow some of the most popular sprouts to the raw food world. I was very thankful she came over to my place to give me a lesson on how to get these started.

Below here I am growing one of my favorite sprouts, Clover sprouts. They are very mild and taste good with everything. I love them not only because of their taste, but because they are good for your hormone balance.

She brought over some wheat grass , sunflower sprouts and buckwheat. They are so beautiful and I tried them and was amazed at how sweet they tasted and nourishing they felt.

In this picture they have been growing for at least a week. I loved to watch them grow. You could see a noticeable difference each day in the height.

Here is a close up of sunflower sprouts.

I had some wheat grass growing as well. I tasted it and it was so sweet it almost tasted like stevia.

Here is what buckwheat looks like. I had no idea they could grow into a green. I used to sprout them and tun them into just shoots for making all my bread recipes.

My son said he favorite was the sunflower sprout. I would agree with him. I can't wait to grow some more. we have ordered a bunch of the sprouting seeds. Lets see what kind of creations I can come up with this spring and summer.

I must have taken at least a couple hundred pictures of these sprouts as they were growing. I must admit I am very rusty with the camera. Feel like I am going to have to start over again. I have a mission, but it will take some time. I want to find answers as to how someone can reclaim their lives whether they are in a total mess or just could use some improvement in their lives and feel a little better.

I used scissors to cut the grass and because I didn't have a wheat grass juicer I just put it in the blender with some filtered water. I strained it and drank it. It was very sweet wow it was strong tasting.

The darker the wheat grass the better. I could see it was fading in colour which tells me it was losing its chlorophyll.
